Outdoor Enclosures for ZCams

The PTZOptics ZCam camera models can also be installed outdoors using the “Evertech Security Surveillance Outdoor Camera Housing with Bracket and Built in Heater-Blower“. This outdoor camera housing unit is a perfect fit for our Variable Lens, 12X and 20X ZCam camera models. This outdoor camera enclosure includes a Heater/Blower system to keep the glass and camera lens from fogging due to changing temperatures. When you select an outdoor enclosure it’s important to carefully consider the electrical requirements for your outdoor installation.

Cooling
The cooler is thermostatically controlled by a preprogrammed thermostat. It turns on at 95°F to begin the cooling process, and resets at 80°F.
Heating
The heater will turn on at 50°F, and reset at 70°F. The heating element for all models starts at 25W each, and additional heating elements can be added for colder climates.
Fans
The interior fan is always on to circulate airflow, and the external fan removes excess heat from inside the housing. External fans activate at 95°F, and reset at 70°F.
